Parrotfishes are very speedy….. so it is difficult to take photos of them…. but there is a place in Kilo Ashra where they stop to be cleaned… with the wrasse cleaners….just see the video…the Parrots don’t move and wait with the mouth open that the cleaners do their work!…it is like a car washing station! There are so many kinds of Parrotfishes (around 90 species) …it is an “arcanciel de couleurs”! When the sea is calm you can “hear” them eating the corals! At night they secrete from the mouth a white mucus cocoon to protect themselves from predators.
